In April 2021, i was commissioned to paint a mural for a local Norwich pub Called the strangers tavern. this 1500's bar scene was the result of a collaboration between a third year fine art student Peter Allen.
In early 2021 i found out that one of my favourite hip hop artists, Daniele Dumile A.K.A MF DOOM, passed away. i was very upset to hear this news and wanted to commemorate his passing with a graffiti/mural. the titles of the articles are all references to his songs. this was a fun piece to create and my first large scale (legal) graffiti piece.
I was commissioned alongside two other designers Callum Ritchie and Dominic Lovegrove by Norwich BID to repaint a mural that had been covered by insulation in a recent renovation. we had to scale up a design and paint a ceiling in 4 days. using grid methods and some D.I.Y tables we managed to get the job done inside of the time. this was a great opportunity to get some mural and large scale painting experience.
